Sam’s Chop House
Famous chain of Manchester City Centre Dining Pubs.
The involvement with Sam’s Chop House started when proprietor Roger Ward acquired both Mr Thomas’s Chop House and Sam’s Chop House back in the early 00’s.
Mr Thomas’s was then a fairly quiet little pub on Cross Street in the heart of Manchester, and Sam’s was all but derelict. Roger had a clear vision for both sites, and invested heavily in a complete refurbishment of Sam’s, with a more subtle repurposing of the dining offer for Mr Thomas’s.
A complete new brand was required for both sites, united under a main brand called the Victorian Chop House Company. A heavy nod back to a Victorian heritage was the starting point for not just a complete range of marketing materials, but internal and external detailing of Sam’s new refurbished look and feel.
Logos, Menus, Stationery, Advertising and Signage were initially commissioned, with an ongoing selection of promotions and campaigns over the next few years. New sub brands were introduced for Wine Clubs, Music Nights, Events and special occasions.
Work was also done on further sites in Leeds, and the famous Chop Houses have gone from strength to strength standing alongside their newest site in Albert Square.
